Deep orange red in color. An annual, it should have full sun with average but well drained soil. Should plant them 2 1/2 to 3 feet apart. Seeds germinate at 70 degrees Fahrenheit in one to three weeks. The plants as they grow will need to be staked and protected from the wind. And they are not be be over watered. Heat tolerant and drought resistant. Bees love them. They also go by the name Tithonia.I will send 5 seeds. From my 2012 gardens, these need to be started early for early blooms. Grow very tall.
