Questions & Comments

For 2 weeks all we talked about was how we will
send the binkie fairy her binkie and shell get a
special "Big Girl" package in the mail.She was soo
happy when she got her package, She still says that
her binkie went to a new baby in Japan lol Shes
almost 3 now and she remembers! lol
I never actually sent the binkie away just tossed it in
the trash the night before the package was due to
arrive. and for 2 weeks after every night at bed time
she whinned for her binkie and I would remind her
its now in Japan and she would reply "Ya went bye
bye to a new baby."

Can you do this for a bottle or baba as my son says?
He is 2 (tommorow, oh my lil man is growing up) and he just cant seem to let go of the baba and this would be so cute and I think all my kids would enjoy this story and help play it out!!!

BTW I can do this for anything, Potty trained suprize, breaking form binkie or bottle, First day of school, its just a matter of changing some pics and wording,No problem! I figured this would be a fun way to have a listing and my children can help come up with fun ways to decorate the suprizes!

My son just turned 2 the other day, he does not want to give up the baba for NOTHING. I have tried over 25 cups already, all different colors and types and designs, this wouldnt hurt to try!!! And who knows it just might work.

they key to it working, is not just the story but how real you make it, by throwing out all the bottles and reminding him it went with the fairy. Gotta stick to it!! you gottta stuborn little guy, So once the baba is gone, let him choose his cup. He will fight for a couple days and then whine for a couple weeks more. My Daughter was just as stubborn, Id tried everything to get that binky away then I tried this, and it worked! lol

he is my youngest of 6 and none of them were ever this stubborn. The rest of my kids think this is sooo cute and are ready to play it out with us, dad is investing in a good set of ear plugs in the mean time!

this is a really good idea my daughter is going to be three in january getting rid of the bottle was easy she didnt want it in the day when she turned eight months old she would through it down and steel the other kids sippy cups and potty training was also easy i just told her that she could not go to school next year if she couldnt use the big girl potty. but that darn binky lol i tryed telling her that she could not go to school if she still used one but i just cant seem to break her of it. but this sounds like it might work.

My daughter is the same age and she was about 26 months when I went the binky fairy route with her and I was so suprized at the result. To help with the weeks after she no longer had the binky I made up a chart, So that everynight she went to bed without her binky and didnt cry alot she moved up on the chart, and once we got to 2 week mark she got a dollar and got to go pick out a toy at the dollar store with it. If she did cry real big than she didnt move up. we only had one real bad night and that was the night after it was gone.
