Description

The listing, Dell Lattitude E6400 Laptop Windows 7 Ultimate has ended.

Dell lattitude E6400

This laptop was a trade in, cosmetically I would say it is an 8/10 ( there are some light surface scrathes on the brushed metal lid of the laptop). Functionally it is a 10/10 absolutely nothing wrong with it, I have ran all testing on this laptop, and it runs 100%, this laptop had windows vista basic witch I did a fresh install of and then I upgraded it to windows 7 ultimate. It has an 80 GB hard drive because the person that traded it in wanted the hard drive back and all I had handy at the time was an 80 GB. This laptop is a very fast running laptop and would make an awesome laptop for anyone.

Here are the specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate

Intel core 2 Duo P8700 / 2.53 GHz

Dual-Core

Intel P45 Express

4GB RAM INSTALLED / MAX RAM IS 8GB

DDR2 SDRAM

80GB HDD 7200.00 rpm

8x DVD+/-RW – Fixed

in screen LED backlight widescreen UltraSharp

NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M - 256.0 MB

Stereo speakers , Microphone, High Definition Audio

Dell Wireless 1397

5 in 1 card reader

6-cell Lithium ion battery

Brushed metal black

as always with my listings:

free shipping w/ tracking

i place insurance on item

signature on delivery

I ship fedex ground with a laptop box with built in padding

read my feedback before bidding and be assured my descriptions always are accurate and I ship fast and safe.

( NO GIN) even though I write this someone will still ask though :) and the answer is still no, I like to give everyone a chance with auction.

Do you own a shop where people trade in? I am working on a Dell missing 9 keys but with a grandbaby in the hospital for the last 5 months and in general most of his short 2 years of life we have been in a hospital he is very disabled and with his mother graduating from high school she will be taking college course online since he can't go to childcare anywhere he is way too disabled had lightening not hit my house and she not had to go to the library after school we wouldn't have the piece of gold in that hospital Crib and she knows their will never be a child support Check only his SSI check so only she can make a life for her and her child but to do that we need to get her a computer to take classes from home and in FL they have 3 semesters per year not 2 with the option off the Summer classes so I have between now and June to meet her needs this computer works great other than missing the keys it's very fast etc but the cd rom drive does not open which she will need one to install her programs unless it's one she can download but most books come with Cd's to install we just don't want her giving up she has been through enough so if you own a used store would I be better off buying a used one or trying to get what is newest to not keep upgrading for the school? Any advice is very welcomed. Sincerely Rala

well i sell mostly new ones, people trade in on the new laptops. i usually do not resale the older models , i usually place them on here, or scrap them according to if there not worth the effort in fixing.

according to what she's going to school for is what specify's what kind of laptop she'll need , some school use mac programs, some use windows. some also require a type of office program's on the pc , like word, excel, etc. to do the curiculum work. to be completely honest with you don't need a new laptop for any of this, you don't need to upgrade in the future either as long as it's a solid running used laptop, even if its running windows xp, as long as the dvd/cd drive works properly and she has some type of office software on it, she should be good to go.

open office is a free office software similiar to microsoft office, you can download it off the net for free, or libre office is another great free office software.

any of the laptops i have on here at any giving time would be good for her to use for school, but you can also look at newegg.com, best buy, staples, even walmart, they all sell pretty good refurbished laptops that would work for school. i believe walmart has them for around 139.99 or 149.99 refurbished sometimes online, usually the dell d630's or a similiar model to that.

just don't get her a laptop with windows 8 on it's way to complicating for school work, and most of these new laptops have windows 8 on them.

impressive...

approx $500 in retail sale value when coins are converted to currency... amazing since the laptop is $250 cash refurbished with same specs.

yes, they are about 250.00 cash refurbished, but i do not sell refurbished laptops, i place them on here, and if your basing your calculations on how much listia charges for credits , $5.00 for 1500, by your calculations, if someone was to purchase a xbox 360 from the rewards store for 219,000 credits, your saying there paying about 1,000.00 cash value? i think your way off bases, but i could see where your coming from.

I fanned you, I like that you do free shipping with your computer auctions and that you don't do gin so everyone gets a chance to try and win the auction.

Ok, lost your auction by one, andi meanONE minute, I had watched solid 2 hours I knew someone would bid the last few min , but. I really thought that was a dirty pool play, as my bid takes longer than a minute to get there, I wouldnt do that to anyone, but like they say alls fair in love and war, except I will never fan or go to that ones auctions. I am sure she doesnt give a rats a___, but I was so disappointed I almost cried. If u have another one like it, I will b watching.. meanwhile, did bid on the one now, but I need to get my auctions up and going. It was a winner but not 4 me, thanks anyhow.

I was wondering, Since this doesn't have a HDMI port if i were to get a UBS to HDMI adapter do you think it would work and show on the tv?
Mar 9th, 2013 at 4:12:56 PM PST by
Original
Yes it would, also there is a 1394 port on it, they have 1394 to hdmi that would work also, and also you could go VGA to VGA on your tv, and also VGA to hdmi cables would work too.
