Oh that is just horrible. We don't have tax on food, or clothes during school months, but we do have the highest cig tax in the entire US. That kind of makes up for it I guess. Oh and now I guess we have a CANDY tax, so junk food is taxed. Weird. LOL

Yeah I thought it was the same too, especially for food. I guess it just depends on individual states. NY kills you on everything else so they should let you get food tax-free. Those so-and-sos! LOL
