Questions & Comments
I think the ring is pretty, but you say ship in a plain enevelpe it will never make. i started that way and they go through a machine and then the envelope rips. You should send in a padded enevelope. That way the person who wins it will get it and you will get your credits after they get it. Just a good way of shipping.
I have to agree with donidarling. I received an empty envelope that was torn open and the antique pin was gone that I had won. I had to file a dispute, and got my credits back, but the seller was unhappy. Wrapping it in some paper and lots of tape and putting it in a bubble wrap enevelope would be best. Don't be afraid to ask for shipping costs. It's about 2.90-3.00 on jewelry. I would rather pay than take a chance we will both lose out. It is a beautiful ring!
Sadly I can't afford to ship in a box I can barely ship my items for free in a small manilla envelope. I have to trust that the mailman or whoever is opening the envelopes will just do their job and leave the envelopes alone. I would hope the winners of my auction here on Listia would not be dishonest.
besides all that, the postal service wants u to ship it right. The machine they use to sort mail does not like bulky envelopes. I have been told this by my local po.
