The listing, Vintage Aurora Borealis on Metal Remembrance Ribbon Pin/ Brooch has ended.

This is a really pretty piece that I created. I found this black metal ribbon, encrusted with aurora borealis rhinestones in a box lot of jewelry from an estate. I put a pin on the back of it, so it could be worn by someone as a remembrance pin. It measures 2" long and is 1-1/2" wide. It is in perfect condition.

Black ribbons are usually a sign of mourning. They have also taken on the meaning of sympathy for any catastrophe, such has hurricanes, the recent shootings in Newtown, etc.
