FREE: 1979 - 1980 First Day of Issue Stamp Set with Cards!!!

Up for bids is a collection of Readers Digest (?) Stamps and Description Cards. I have a few more of these sets with different themes that I will list depending on how well these do here. The cards are LARGE. The envelopes are standard envelope size to give you an idea of the scale. I will measure and post in the first comment spot tomorrow.

This set is The John Paul Jones Commemorative Set but I would call it the History Set. There is 8 Cards/7 Stamps in the Set. If any are missing, I wouldn't know.

The stamps are mounted on a First Day of Issue Envelope. The Envelope sits in a plastic sleeve on a double sided card. The cards and envelopes are a little yellowed from age.

Each Double Sided Card have 3 Holes for a Binder, Description about the stamp and its history, Pocket with envelope and stamp and illustrations. The Main Card is only single sided and does not have a stamp and envelope.

I don't know too much about these. My dad bought them and gave them to me. We were more coin collectors than stamp collectors so I have no idea of their value nor their collectibility. If you have questions, will do my best to answer, but I may not have an answer for you. Original Mailer (last pic) is included because that is where they are stored.
