buds, the shipping on this won't be that bad. It's the small size, and light, but will be more than five bucks. around 12 to 15 probably. I don't know for sure, the rates just went up, that is if you use the post office. UPS of course will be about what you said at best. I believe this is the Discsovery line, and just basically a toy, not exactly, but close to it. It is made from real wood, and can be made to play quite well, but won't from the factory. Most first act stuff is actually better than people think, but they don't do the little things that make the difference in how well a guitar plays. I've fixed up many of them. These, I usually give away to local kids. They're good enough to get the basics, but that's about it
