Description

The listing, 1969 Topps baseball card lot w/ McAuliffe has ended.

Here's a lot of eight (8) vintage 1969 Topps baseball cards (NOT reprints). These are all in great shape!: clean fronts and backs, no creases I see or other major flaws, and most of the corners look great for 44-year old cards. Some centering issues, but that's to be expected from '69 Topps.

Cardinals Rookie Stars STEVE HUNTZ & MIKE TORREZ. Torrez pitched for 18 years, with his shining moment being the '77 World Series where his 2 complete game wins helped the Yankees become champs.

Astros Rookie Stars HAL GILSON & LEON McFADDEN. Gilson started off his career not allowing a run in his first 6 appearances, but couldn't continue that success.

DICK (RICHARD) McAULIFFE (2B, Tigers) was a 3-time All-Star and was 7th in AL MVP voting in 1968 when he helped lead Detroit to a championship.

BOB PRIDDY (P, White Sox) bounced around for 9 years with 6 different teams.

TED KUBIAK (SS, A's) was a back up infielder for Oakland's incredible run of 3 straight championships, '72-'74.

JIM DAVENPORT (3B, Giants) was San Francisco's starting 3rd baseman for many years. In '62, he was an All-Star, Gold Glove Winner, and helped lead the Giants to the pennant with the likes of Willie Mays and Juan Marichal, before losing the WS in 7 to Mickey Mantle and the Yanks.

FELIX MILLAN (2B, Braves) split his career between Atlanta and the Mets, winning 2 Gold Gloves and being an All-Star 3 times.

CARROLL SEMBERA (P, Expos) notched the 1st save in Montreal Expos history, later being a scout for many years.
