Vintage 50 year old Canadian coin bracelet

I had this for 50 years, my aunt gave it to me when I was a teen. It does not fit me now. Cleaning out my old jewelry box. I will share it with someone who can wear it. I know these are not real coins but look like it on both sides, with dates even. It was a treasure to me then and hope it will be to you now. Not sure where my aunt ever got this. Maybe she went to Canada at one time. 8 1/2" long, 9 coins, Canadian cent, dates on each coin: 1941,1942,1946,1943,1939,1941,1945,1940,1947.

Coins curved, maple leaf side up, George VI side inside.

I enjoy interesting or unusual things, hope you do too.

Is it god tone or silver tone? Canadian 1 cent jewelry usually light gold tone metal. I have screw back earrings look like these coins. Thank you.

silver color, they seem too thick to be real coins unless they are real coins that are plated or coated. Inner side turning black on some coins would indicate coating changing color there perhaps?

actual if the coins are turning black then they may be silver and real coins put pennies dont contain silver so they could be plated these are intresting i love old things
