The listing, MOTOROLA DROID has ended.

i have a motorola droid that i no longer use. i have had it for a few months and kept a screen protector on it, so there are no scratches on the screen. if bids get over 5000 i will ship for free. the phone has been restored to factory settings. any questions feel free to ask.

Does it have built in memory then? According to the Motorola website a droid comes with 16gb of memory.

it does have internal memory. not sure how much though.

Well actually they have swype now so phones with no keyboard are fine. But, the droid is the best by far of the older androids as it is just as good if not better than some of the newer mid end androids.

3ethan4 is right...the droid x has no physical keyboard...however as far as I am concerned that doesn't mean anything because the original droid is an awesome phone anyway, and personally I think that a physical keyboard would work better. I have an iPod touch, and it takes forever to type in anything with the onscreen keyboard.
I still think this is an awesome auction!

This is not a Droid X. A Droid X has no keyboard but, is the 2nd best phone they have right now. This is what the auction is titled a Motorola Droid.

ok i just looked up this phone. they call it the droid x. i has 8gb of internal memory and can hold up to 32gb sd card. the phone was used when i bought it and didnt have a 8gb card in it like it was supposed to so i got it for cheaper. but it still has the 8gb on internal memory.

A few questions: this runs on the Android operating system right? Can I run Android apps and otherwise use the device for everything except calling even if I don't have a calling plan?

thx. not to sure about the android os. it is powered by google. i did run quite a few apps on it when i used it. not sure if you can download the apps without a calling plan, however if you already have the apps and put them on the phone you will be able to run them.
