neat auction! F&W! even though I'm arock n roller/country fan, I do like to listen to all types of music. I like the big band cd, there was a good movie on TV about a month ago about the Dorseys, and Glenn Miller back in the 1940s heyday that was just great. I have a lot of them on vinyl in my collection but not many on CD I can just pop in for a quick listen. I have a lot on the older 78rpms too but most of them require a LOT of cleaning to get the sound back as mostly theey've been stored the last 30+ years as interest waned. A huge favorite of mine is Louis Prima & Keely Smith from the 50s! My grandpas favorite italion musicion, I remember he played them all the time in his stamp hobby room when I was about 5 in the early 60s, who'd a thunk I'd love them 50 years later??? After Van Halen and others remade "I'm just a Gigalo" a few years back I wanted to hear the originals and like them better then the remakes! the Village People did a version in the 1970s, but I can't hardly listen to it.
Have a great weekend and may GOD bless you & yours!
