Yes, I would accept cash if you think that is safe in the mail. I know I've sent cash for items on ebay and never had a problem. I'm trying to learn the best way to list things. I guess it's better to list them for higher credits and free shipping. I need to figure out how much I have to "pay" Listia to list higher. Guess I have some studying to do :)
U dont actually pay money u do with credits u have to have your sellers badge to say put a GIN on your auction which is get it now allowing someone to get it for 2000 credits or higher but u have to pay credits to list it which u will find out after you have your sellers badge. And u have to list and complete 15 auctions to get your sellers badg
this site does take a little while to get use to, but you will get much higher bids if you go free shipping. personally, i try to limit heavier things to about two a week, and stick to lighter things for the rest of my auctions. people on here are not normally willing to bid high credits AND pay for the shipping. I normally wont bid on something thats not free shipping. just too much of a hassle and i know alot of others feel the same way. as soon as you get the hang of it and how to manage your auctions though, this site is a blast. I am so thankful i found it. I literally have atleast one thing in my mail box everyday and i ship out all my stuff on fridays. good luck on getting the hang of it and if you have any specific question, I would be more than happy to help you out, just private message me :)
I charge shipping as Listia should be free for all. Say you shipped 10 items for a cost of $3. each. That will cost you $30. not to mention cost of packing materials, tape and gas used to take to usps. And, no shipping does not necessarily pull in higher bids. It can yet buyers usually understand shipping costs are going up. Welcome to Listia!
Thanks for the comment. So many different opinions about the shipping. Guess I'll just use my best judgement on each item that I list. Have a great weekend.
