NP! It protects us both, unfortunately there are people that come on this site with the express purpose to try and get something for nothing, i.e. set up dummy accounts to get stuff from others and skate before you realize what's happened. Now that probably won't happen on this kind of auction, mostly on the tech or jewelry auctions but I use the same rules for every auction I list so I do not have to write them over and over again. I have been burned a few times since I started listing stuff here and I just now follow the rules to avoid any problems, hope that helped! And welcome, it is really a fun place, no matter the little hiccups that may occur!

Well you said: "All auctions are as-is" which is telling bidders there is no guaranteed it will work when they get it. If you're saying its brand new, then you shouldn't put as is. :-)

The wording of my auctions are such because of other factors besides this one auction. It has to do with buyers remorse or damage do to shipping that I am not responsible for. You put the words in your listing to ensure that you are covered no matter what ends up happening at the end of an auction.I more rely on my feedback which is 100%. I am sorry that it is confusing for you!

It might fit on the top of one depending on how big of a cake you are making. the dimensions are approx. 8L x 5H x 2W I measured just the toy itself so with the box it is quite a bit bigger. Hope that helps!

Not confusing at all, I'm in the business industry of selling things. If its new I don't say its *as is* If its used then I use *as is* If you're worried about something getting broke? Get insurance. My feed back is 100% too. :-)

It is very easily done, you just go to your auction page and follow the directions there, when the auction ends Listia will give the winner the ability to enter their verified address which will come to me. If it is not verified, I will be notified by Listia, you then have 7 days from the date of the auction close to do it before I can re-list the auction. But it is so easy to do it should take you just a few minutes.

As is? you can't wind it up and see if it works? Saying as is, makes it sound like its not gonna work and ur stuck with it. Actually u can wind it up with out taking it out of the box.

I 2nd what you said eden! Listia is a great place but you have got to take the proper precautions and always make sure your rules are clear on all your auctions!
