Description
The listing, Paper Ephemera 1952 Texas Driving License Handbook has ended.
1952 Texas Driving Handbook. Printed on the handbook’s back cover is a poem by American poet, Edgar A. Guest (1881-1951), entitled “Driver’s License. Also on inside cover another poem by him called "Courtesy".
Guest was a prolific poet, as is evidenced by the great number of his poems published on the Internet. In his poem called "Driver's License" he talks about the responsibilities of obtaining a driver’s license in honor of all new drivers.
Very interesting and I feel collectible memorabilia from Texas early 1950's.
