This is a booklet of crochet patterns circa 1950 that originally sold for TEN CENTS! On the cover it reads, "CLARK'S J & P COATS BATHROOM BEAUTIES --BOOK NO. 265--DECORATIVE CROCHET FOR BATH TOWELS--GUEST TOWELS--FACE CLOTHS". This booklet does have some tearing at the spine but I have not used any tape on it at all. This seems to have been another popular booklet that seemed to have gotten more wear and tear through the years. Inside are 6 patterns for "Water Lily", "Poinsettia", "Cherry", Daisy", "Goldfish" and "Penguin" Bath Sets. In addition are 10 patterns for "Monogram" Towel and Guest Towels plus "Hearts and Flowers" Wash cloths. Please bear in mind that this is a fragile pattern booklet but hey the patterns are really cool--especially the "Penguin" one. Happy bidding and free shipping.
