The listing, Vintage Navajo Sand Painting the Sun has ended.

Vintage Sand Painting by Navajo (signed on back, but can't read it). This is the Sun God. Has a nice concho imbedded inside the frame.

Size of complete picture is 10x12 in an oak frame. Purchased back in the 1970's in New Mexico.

Will this be packaged in a large box with lots of packing materials so that it does not get damaged? I had pottery shipped to me that was touching near the edges of the box and it was all broken when it arrived. Thanks!

I always pack very well. This does not have glass but it will be packed very well.

No glass at all. In fact I have several and none have glass.

Thanks! Please, cover the sand painted area so that the packing materials do not stain or rub it. Maybe cardboard taped around the piece like an envelope - inside of the shipping box.. Watching and bidding!
