The listing, 1963-P 90% Silver Unc. Franklin Half Dollar has ended.

Beautiful Uncirculated 1963-P Franklin Half Dollar
~~~~~90% Silver~~~~~
The pictures I have included show the exact coin you will receive, plus pics of the original bankroll it came from and the wrappers. I had these put back for a long time and decided to open them up and put them into coin flips and plastic holders.
I love the Franklin Half Dollars...they're big, heavy and one of my favorite coins. Take a good look and I think you will like this coin as much as I do. The winner of this auction will be proud to own this Franklin Half Dollar.
f & W, they are very nice, but if you were to weigh all the different halves that have been made in there new state you will find they all weigh pretty close the same.
Fanned back. Oh! I absolutely agree they should all weigh the same in Uncirculated condition. 12.5 grams total weight, 90% silver weight .36169 oz. "My opinion" MS 65: Only light, scattered contact marks that are not distracting, strong luster and great eye appeal. My Opinion only.
Very nice coin!! Have you ever seen the bugs bunny version...I think it was a die strike error that makes him look like he has buck teeth!! If you have more of these...you may have one...good luck on your 100 watchers...
I can't fine a 1963 P in my coin book. Only 63 and 63D, Is this really a 1963P?
Mar 30th, 2013 at 9:12:17 AM PDT by
Original
Yes it is a 1963 and made at the Philadelphia mint but back then they did not put a "P" mint mark on any coins made there. They use the term 1963-P the "P" meaning "plain" or no mint mark. In reality it is a 1963-P without a mint mark "Plain." In all the coin books it is just a 1963....Plain
Just a note to assure you this is a genuine 1963 90% SILVER Franklin Half Dollar made at the Philadelphia Mint. Google 1963 Franklin Half and you will find info on it. Thanks.
Another idea...If you have a "Redbook coin guide" go back in the index and look for "mintmarks" and go to that section it explains the "P" mint mark. Coins struck at Philadelphia before 1979 do not have mintmarks. But they are still regarded as 1963-P.
