All Car Seats have an expiration date because the Government regulations&requirements change so often on them. If you get pulled over & your child is in an expired child seat you could get a child endagerment ticket/charge. And YES I would have to say that someone posting to ship this for free would be scamming!! And she is not verified! BEWARE! Lol
