The listing, Raw Opal Perfect for Pendant or Ring has ended.
I am not a jeweler, but several years ago, I had an opportunity to purchase some "raw" gemstones, and being "me" I did it. I have several of them, about 3 different minerals. This particular stone is opal, and is cut, as you can see, in a rectangular shape. Although the edges are quite sharp, and the pictures are not the best, you can see the colors inside that are just waiting to burst forth with proper treatment. I have a relative who works in a jewelry store who told me that opals and other similar stones should be kept wet, so I stored them in a jar of water for a few years, but now I realize that it is pretty stupid for me to keep holding on to them because what am I going to do with them? NOTHING BUT LOOK AT THEM IN MY WAY! IT'S SPRING CLEANING TIME~ and if you have the ability to make jewelry from these gorgeous stones, God bless you! I do not, so you are in luck...because these stones are going to someone else's house soon...I am giving them to you! All you have to do is ask, and they will be on their way to your home, shop or jewelry store...I don't care what you do with them, I just don't want to see them setting here getting older instead of prettier.
