The listing, Tapestry Handbag w/Chain Strap has ended.

This is a lovely handbag,it is in wonderful condition,it has been displayed in a closed cabinet for many years.
It is 6 1/2" wide and6 1/2" high ,the chain strap is 47" long. Very nice pattern of the strap,like a greek key,
It has a pocket inside for small items,it has a little rust on the closure ,I'm sure it would come off,I'm going to leave it as is. " FREE SHIPPING" Thanks for Looking.

I love vintage (or cintage looking) bags with character and this certianly fits what I look for----a truly lovely piece. I will be watching closely----but being being new and without tons of credits, I am sure I'll get outbid. But....going to watch just in case.

I'm not sure of its age,there are no tags. I have owned it for 18 years,and it was not new when I bought it. I paid $27.00 for it way back then.

I bought the exact purse on a trip to china in 1987. It was brand new but looked older. Gave it to my Aunt.

I guess that I'm not really of good judge of time,it seems to me that the 90"s were like last year some time.I did not see any markings to even give me a clue to its age. I have owed it along time,and it was used when I bought in a vintage store over on the Pismo Coast. Thank you and good luck,I'm a fan of yours.

I would think it would be older then 70" s I would lean more to 50's or 60's

I have that identical bag. I have had it for many years. Got it at a garage sale or goodwill. Hope whoever gets it enjoys it as much as I have mine.
