Questions & Comments
It would depend on your soil and how well you took care of them. Pull up a mound of soil made up of either black cow manure or goat droppings mixed with peat moss and the soil you have put a little bit, about an eighth of a tsp. of micracle grow in the top of the hole and water it good. Let it sink in two times, then plant the seed just so the soil mix is covering the little seed. Press down very gently on the top, not too hard or it will take longer to come up, if it does at all. keep it moist but not wet. When you do it this way, you will see that it comes up and catches up with the one you got from the store. Keep dirt pulled up around it as it grows and keep all the bottom leave and branches cut off that are near the ground. They need that air and they DON'T need to touch the ground! You'll have a green thumb before you know it. The size of your plants and tomatoes will astound you!!!!!! goatlady49
