These are adorable. The purple can be for either a boy or girl but these belonged to my daughter. Her twin brother had the black ones with the tattoo print strap in my other listing.

I'm not sure. The strap is adjustable Velcro. My son won't even wear his eyeglasses that also have a strap. We put these on him last summer when he was 1.
