Oct.16, 1918 is the date on this Beautiful postcardpost mark is for kellog Idaho. that town was hopping during that time because of the gold and silver mines. they are still mining today butt it is basically a ghost town now. I lived there with my husband back in 75 he worked for the smelter in kellogg. Then they went on strike trying to break the union. almost worked. however there is hardly any work today! like I said a ghost town. What year I do not recall but There is a forest fire that hit our history record as going through that area. also
