If it's made from wood it may be naturally bent. It doesn't, however, take away from it's purpose. Some say straight is best. I personally don't mind a little bit of crook or bending in mine.

not used i made it.i got 1 more a oak type color i use wood from the tree belt and good fun making stuff.

I like the bends, It makes it look more like it was made out of a real branch. The wand is lovely and I'm watching it, but forgive me for saying it looks like a giant Twizzler! ;)
