The base unit is hooked to the phone line but the second unit only needs an electrical hook up. You can put it in any room you choose. Even the ones that do not have a phone line hookup. Money order or cash is fine. The phones have been in my garage for over a year. I got a new set a year ago last Christmas that work in 3 rooms. The set was working when I put them out there, but no guarantee.

The rate by weight is cheaper in most cases. $10.70 for flat rate. I will check it out both ways and let the winner choose which way to ship and then he/she can send payment. Fair enough? :-)
