Description

The listing, 5 port 10/100Mbps switch for Ethernet cables has ended.

you will be bidding on a trendnet Ethernet split for 5 different devices. I bought it but it did not work for what I wanted it for. what it does is it will send priority mbps to the device you are using needing the more internet instead of using your pc and Xbox for example and having just a normal split off of your modem. it comes with a power cord abd it is still in the box. I have misplaced the instructions though so they will not be included. happy bidding.

Can this be used as a router? Can split a connection into 2 connections with it?

what it has is 5 Ethernet connections on it. you plug your main connection from your modem and up to 4 other connections into other Ethernet devices. it will send priority mbps to the device that needs the most signal instead of splitting it up 4 ways

yes sir, very easy to install. the only problem I was having is trying to figure out Windows 8. I was not sure how to find the Ethernet connection on it. the switch worked great on the Xbox though. still learning windows 8 lol
