The listing, Light of the world has ended.

Painted by Charles Chambers, this was a popular painting that hung in grade school classrooms until religion was not allowed in public schools. I believe this is a lithogram (not a print at all, has texture) This is framed but does not have any glass. Made exclusively for the Jordan Marsh Company as noted in picture.

There's another painting that I've seen accompany this sometimes of John the Baptist as a child in a similar pose. An absolutely beautiful art treasure. What a lovely auction!
