well the shed for short hair dogs is not as much for mid to long hair dogs. So a shed vac wouldnt get alot of loose hair off them Also it depends when your using it.. the best time To use is Between Winter weather to Summer weather Where most dogs are shedding the Highest amount loosing their winter coats. But most Short hair breed dogs Do not get a Winter coat & need jackets to protect them form winters weather.

I bought this model at dollar tree myself... but was not very happy with it, did anyone else have luck with it? maybe it was my breeds, a chihauha, short hair & a lab?

well i don't know about everyone else but for my longer hair pekingese it works, but my shorter hair one, he didnt care for it. But its listia and free so maybe someone can try it who doesnt want to spend the money on it.
