From 1965 thru 1967 they didn't make proof sets, they made what they called special mint sets !!! the books might say how much they are worth but go find one for sell thats the problem !!! it took me years to find, and here is your chance to own the 1966 sms !!! in 1964 the proof sets cost $2.00 this special mint set cost $4.10 and the dealers and collectors didn't like this and they didn't see making any profit from them so not very many were sold making these sms's harder to find then regular proof sets !!! these sets don't have the same luster than proof sets and when they were made they all landed in a container together causing little nicks and dings not like proof sets where is coin is handled with gloved hands and never touch another coin !!! will have to ship in those padded envelopes that cost $3.00 and i am only asking you for half !!! that's quite fair !!!!! thank you !!! i am keeping this 1966 set at the same opening bid and get it now that the 1967 sold for !!!!
