The listing, cute!! A HAPPY COUPLE..Does Anyone Remember These!! has ended.

I WON THESE CUTE, ANTIQUE/VINTAGE "HAPPY COUPLE", as the Seller named them! on Listia. Never had time to research them. They have been sitting in the bubble package, they arrived in. I feel Terrible, as others bid on them. Just NO time. Absolutely Amazing~ & Sweet! Had a Space picked out for them &..etc. SO, UP for BIDS!! They Need a New, More Attentive Owner! Below is the Original Seller's Description & some Comments by Listia Members, during the 1st Auction: "I'm not sure where these were made,or when. I just know they are adorable! I found them in an attic in an apartment complex I was hired to clean a few years back,so they're kinda dirty and aged looking. I've cleaned them up as well I could and figured maybe someone would like them."They are ADORABLE!!!"looks like they go to a set of the dwarfs I've seen! Cute and funny I honestly have no idea where they came from (maker/place of purchase),they definitely are cute! No markings on them. They are stuffed. Looks like they maybe were hand made.Old looking, but I'm not one to appraise value/age/whereabouts of origin."They Look Like they were Made in the Late 40's Early 50's Hand Made Took a lot of Crafting to Do Not Made in the USA by the Origins i Wanna Say East Germany. I was thinking maybe Germany..Where ever they came from, they're cute.I've just been holding onto them for so long now. They aren't beat up or anything, but I did find them in an attic,so,they are a little dirty, don't know if maybe the winner can clean them up maybe even restore them in some way. Very cute, my grandparents had a couple similar to these!"OK~this was a Great honest seller who very lightly cleaned them, as not to disturb them, or their Value:) I have not touched them. Left them as arrived.THANKS For Looking! ENJOY BIDDING ON THESE ANTIQUE, would be Happier Couple with more Attention!!!

awwww:) you are so very sweet!! I luv them, and they are absolutely adorable. I Never had the time:( to really take a close look at them, or google! to in any way find out anything about their origin, etc. They are in the same Bubble bag, as when I got them. Of Course I looked at them!! They are a bit "dirty" as you can see in pics. The girl who found them told me & eveyone that she gave them a very light cleaning, as not to ruin them in any way or take away their value? It could have been from years of dust?? No Clue, But if anyone knows in fact, once they win or see them, what method they would use to clean them up, more.....I wanted to leave it up to someone who knows what they are doing! I did Not remember to put in my description, although you can see it in the pictures: They have small Gold "loops" or hanging loops, at the Top of their Hats! Stuffed, but in a way that their bodies are "hard" not soft stuffed animal type. Faces are more of a Hard Plastic or other material, Their clothes are Not Ripped, torn or moth-eaten!! in Any way! Thank You So Much for your comment, It actually made me remember to Add to the Original Description:) I though about giving them a Woolite Bath! They are Not fragile, as in they are not going to soften or fall apart in any! Strong, just wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing. So, probably won't! Thanks so much, again:) Good Luck & all thge best:) Deb

Just guessing, but they remind me of the 7 Dwarfs - Bashful and Dopey. Little darlings.
