All I asked for was a picture of the stamp, Russian hallmarks are very distinct and the have been marking their gold for centuries, here are a few (star symbol followed by 583, which is 58.3 % gold) 56 zolonik, meaning 56%, the term "Russian Gold" mainly refers to the color, Russia used Copper as an Alloy and it gave the gold a distinct Rose to Reddish color. So if this is Russian Gold it would be hallmarked and that is a simple fact.
Oh I have heard of Russian Diamonds! And if anyone else has, they know what that means! Who told you in was 'Russian gold'? The person who sold it to you? It needs to be acid tested. It needs to have a stamp in it. The same people that test the gold will test the diamonds all FOR FREE!
