??I don't know what it is for?? The only thing I can think of is it may be for rolling on something to make an indent where to cut or punch small holes. I had it with my Leather Making stuff, so maybe it is a hole guide for a leather punch.

I remember using one of these years ago. I laid out the material to be cut, put carbon paper ink side facing the material, laid the pattern on top of the carbon paper and used this tool to trace the pattern onto the material. This one looks like it might be an old one - cool piece - brings back good memories

I tried it with my suede, and it didn't make marks, so I didn't use it
