if that tells you anything. lol They will sew heavy upholstery fabric, vinyls, and finished leather. I don't know how thick of a leather, as I've not sewn any heavy leather at home. They are great for canvas repairing for sure. I'm no real expert on any of this tho, and would suggest you check to see what this needle is recommended for before bidding. Let me know if I have been misleading, and I will correct it.

Yes ma'am, they should. But they're awfully big to try to sew light weight fabrics. These are almost like an awl, by comparison. You'd probably burn a regular sewing machine motor up trying to sew fabric heavy enough to need these needles.
