Description

The listing, 1969 Topps baseball card lot w/ Pizarro has ended.

Here's a lot of eight (8) vintage 1969 Topps baseball cards (NOT reprints). These are all in "good, not great" condition. Nothing too bad, but some surface wear and dinged corners here and there. No creases. The cards are in pretty nice shape for being 44 years old, but not perfect.

JUAN PIZARRO (P, Red Sox) was an All-Star in 1963 & 1964 with the White Sox. Got a WS ring his rookie year with the 1957 Braves team powered by Hank Aaron. He finished with 131 wins and a 3.43 ERA over 18 years.

JACK BILLINGHAM (P, Expos) got Cy and MVP votes in 1973 & 1974. Part of the Big Red Machine teams of the mid 70s. This is his 2nd card (1st solo card).

LARRY STAHL (OF, Padres) was a 4th outfielder for 10 years, also playing a few years with the Royals and Mets before finishing up with the '73 Reds.

RUSS SNYDER (OF, Indians) was 3rd in AL ROY voting in 1959. Won a ring with the Orioles in 1966.

BRANT ALYEA (OF, Senators) played for 6 years. Homered on the 1st pitch he ever saw in the majors and went on to be a member of the champion '72 A's. This is his 2nd card (1st solo card).

BOB HUMPHREYS (P, Senators) pitched for 9 years with a nice 3.36 career ERA and helped the Cardinals win the WS in 1964.

TONY GONZALEZ (OF, Padres) played for 12 years, mostly with the Phillies, getting MVP votes 3 times. In 1967, he was 2nd to Roberto Clemente for the NL batting crown.

IVAN MURRELL (OF, Padres) came up with Houston in 1963, spent some time with the early San Diego teams, then finished up with the Braves in 1974.
