This is a truely beautiful ring. it is sterling silver with gold over it. it will not turn your finger colors. the stone is a beautiful purple/pink. i think its a topaz. the stone is unique in its cut. the top is checker board cut. the stone is a hexigon, cut , i believe. on the side is two small diamonds or czs i am not sure which. i have had the ring for awhile, but its time to let someone else enjoy it for awhile. the ring sparkles and throws off colors when the light hits it. i am sure you will love it as much as i have. if your a mom, buy it for yourself and make sure you get something you really like. or maybe mom is a ring-nut. lol
if you get it for mom, i bet you have trouble parting with it when the time comes. i will include a nice box for it.
