Description

The listing, Kasey the Kinderbot - with bonus Science cartridge has ended.

This adorable robot from Fisher-Price will entertain your child (or maybe even you) while he teaches. Using expansion cartridges (I am including a Science module for free - a $39.99 value by itself), Kasey is capable of teaching your child new and interesting lessons in a fun way. And since 'all work and no play makes Jimmy a dull boy,' Kasey has many activities that are just for fun.

Kasey is becoming increasing hard to find, and prices go all the way up to $199 for a brand new model. Although this is previously used, it is in very good working condition. The cartridge included is new in the box. I do not have an original manual for the robot, but I do have a PDF version that I will include on CD for free.

If you would like more info on this wonderful little bot, you can check him out at my virtual museum:

From the Amazon.com Editorial Review:
Kasey’s 40+ functions supplement the educational regimens kids are already studying, and a few others: reading, math, phonics, spelling, problem-solving, observation, art, physical fitness, foreign languages, animal identification, and even etiquette. And get this: Kasey also offers music and stretch breaks between lessons. He comes with one cartridge loaded with a bevy of entertaining lessons; other learning cartridges can be purchased separately. The only downsides: there is no computer port for downloading, no power adapter cord to let you avoid buying more of the required "D" batteries, and the LCD screen is only 2.5 square inches, with no color.

Shipping price is based on six pound shipping weight using USPS Standard Post with 35143 as the originating zip code.

BTW - The photo is the actual item. I just used GIMP to remove the background for a more professional look when I was trying to sell this on iOffer.

That is a very good question! I had to look that up myself. According to Amazon, the age range is 3 to 7 years, but then again... I'm 39 and I still enjoy the one I'm keeping :-)
