Description
The listing, 1943S steel penny (defect?) has ended.
This auction a for a very sharp 1943s steel penny from WWII. I don't know if this is significant or not but the #4 is considerably smaller than the other numbers as you can clearly see in the photos provided and it's not because it's worn down at all.
Questions & Comments
Do you have any idea what this sells for 10,000 thousand dollars or more don't believe me see for yourself:
You may be confusing this steel penny for a copper penny. I sent pics of this coin to various friends and the popular consensus is that a piece of debris was on the mold used to stamp the front of the coin or the mold itself was damaged causing the number 4 to become barely noticeable compared to the rest of the coin.. This uniqueness will appeal to collectors but this will never be a 10K penny. Thanks for your advice tho. I really appreciate it!
