The listing, Organic ✽ ZEBRA MALLOW ✽ 15 Seeds ✽ Butterfly Host Plant has ended.
These are seeds from my Zebra Mallow parent plant. This is a beautiful, long-blooming perennial. This is a chance to sow seeds & enjoy this beauty in your garden, because it does not transplant well as a plant. They do reproduce well, once established, and even re-seed themselve if left to naturalize. I grow this as a nectar and host plant for butterflies. They prefer a sunny site, but will bloom in part shade & have been drought tolerant in my yard. I believe the "strong shall survive" in my garden. You will appreciate my motto!

This Auction: You will be receiving 15 seeds from my
garden. They may (or might not) be broken apart for you. If not, they will look like little doughnuts and will need to be pulled apart. They will be sent First Class mail. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 65°F in the spring of 2012. Excellent for beginners!
Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 3-5 seeds per pot. About 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny location.
