My Dad was an old world Italian and loved to hunt and fish. Believe me he ate everything,,,the man would never have starved to death. As a child growing up we always were a bit wary when Dad was cooking? ever eat black bird gravy? Hmmmm…yup. But he knew how to cook all types of meat.

I love fagoli. I get it when I go to Olive Garden. Of course, it isn't as good as an original recipe from a person that grew up with it. I hope that I win this recipe. My uncles' mother used to make this for us but when she passed she didn't have a recipe. Mmmm! :) I bid and fanned you

i know exactly what you mean.
very hard to find traditional italian recipes.
I am very critical of eating out. thankfully I live near Philadelphia, Pa and there is a large
italian population and great eateries. not too found of olive garden. there is a strange place called nouvo italia...(new italy).they have italian and sushi!! yikes...yuppies...
