This is an authentic 1960's or so vintage boudoir gown, or more simply put night gown. This was from JCPenny and is a size L. I bought this 2nd hand with a robe as a set and found out the robe didn't match, was a different size and had small flecks of white paint on it. So the robe is in my pile of items to up-cycle. This piece had some damage to it as well, some of which I have repaired by hand. I am not sure if the hem in this came out of the bottom, or if a previous owner cut it to make it shorter, but there is no hem in the bottom (pic 5). There were also a few holes in the lace detailing, which I repaired by hand stitching them (pics 6-8). I am no pro seamstress but I think I did a pretty good job with it. This would be great for any goth or rockabilly pin up lover, or anyone who is just starting their vintage clothing collection and can't afford to spend money on high end perfect condition vintage clothing. If you would like exact measurements ask. The pics don't do this justice and will try to get better ones.
