The Motor City Machine Gun is a pro wrestling tag team consisting of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. The team is best known for its work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where they are former TNA World Tag Team Champions. The team name, which has been variably Motor and Murder City, is a play on the nickname of Detroit, the hometown of both Shelley and Sabin.

Patrick Martin, born May 23, 1983, is an American pro wrestler, better known by the ring name Alex Shelley. He is best known for working for TNA Wrestling as 1/2 of the The Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin. He previously gained fame on the independent circuit, working most notably for Ring of Honor, as well as in Japan, for Pro Wrestling Zero1-Max. He is currently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he and Kushida are the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. He is a former 2–time world champion having won the wXw World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions. Aside from wrestling, he is the lead singer of a rock band called The High Crusade, which includes his friends and fellow wrestlers Chris Sabin and Petey Williams.

Joshua Harter, born February 4, 1982, is an American pro wrestler, better known by his ring name Chris Sabin. He is currently working for TNA Wrestling.
In 2003, Sabin joined TNA, and quickly won the TNA X Division Championship. Sabin competed mainly in TNA's X Division, until forming The Motor City Machine Guns with Alex Shelley in mid-2007.
In TNA, Sabin is a former 4-time X Division Champion. and also won the TNA Super X Cup in 2003. He was a member of the winning team in the TNA X Cup Tournaments in 2004, and 2006.
