These hand crocheted yarn spongies are made from top quality scrap yarn. I make them and use them myself. They can be used just like a sponge. They will last much longer than a plastic sponge and do a better job. They can be washed in the washer or dishwasher, or you can put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to kill the germs.Do not use them as a hot pad because of the acrylic in the yarn.
They can also be used to exfoliate your skin. They will not harm your skin.
