Questions & Comments
In opinion Listia is a place where you auction off things laying around your house that you have no use for or want to get rid of. You earn credits from selling it FOR FREE on Listia. If you want high priced items you have to be dedicated to this site just like being dedicated to facebook..eBay..myspace..etc.. Blu-Rays (especially Disney) are VERY expensive unless you find them on a really good sale. But even then sometimes they still range from $15 and up. If you post something lying around your house and it sells for 1k..and another sells for 2k..and another one sells for 1k..that's 4k right there that you just earned in order to bid on auctions such as Blu-Rays. And to be honest even if you paid shipping for those 3 items (if the buyer paid shipping then you just got a Blu-Ray FOR FREE!!!!!) let's guess a total of not even 10 dollars..you just won yourself a Blu-Ray (hopefully in like new or brand new condition) for selling 3 of your unused household items for free but getting back something totally worth it that you will put to good use. It's like trading in a way. Lol. So a few thousands credits may seem A LOT to some bidders but Listia is NOT a site where you can sign-up and just sit around hoping to win FABULOUS items such as Blu-Rays for less than 1k or even a few thousand credits. You have to interact with people and that's what a lot of people don't understand. They make themselves so reclusive to others but it is worth it to get out there and get to know people. They aren't asking you to talking to them everyday or pay hundreds of dollars to visit them on special Holidays, but a little communication makes everything all the better. Well good luck with the auction hun! I'm about to list one myself because I now have two and I don't need but one. Lol =D =D =D
@sharonh72 Forgot to ask you, does it have the Disney Movie Reward code, unused? I see you mention the charm bracelet, but I'm talking about the original code.
just wanted to ask do people think it would be a good idea to put up a gift box one for bots toys and one for girls toys? let me know what you think. is that something you guys would like to see?
Love it I bid and if someone will bid it up i bid well over 3000! Sharon wonderful auction, Do take people to literally on here its full of good meaning people who don't know when there words are not needed, I look at it like this ....its your auction, your rules, if they don't like your rules ... pass it up and do not bid .....its that simple, no need arguing with the Lister! Sharon God bless you and thank you for offering this My kid will love IT!!!
Yes some may go higher than yours, but I cannot go for theirs less than I can yours. I am not trying to give you a hard time. I am just saying listia is sort of like a rummage sale getting rid of items you don 't want or no longer need for a reasonable ( I did not say cheap) price. I don't go to a garage sale and expect to pay a fortune. Nor do i try to get a fortune out of my items. I am saying things should be priced reasonable. I also pay the shipping on my items too. I think that is a very nice gesture for a seller to offer. I hope you get what you want for your items. Good luck . I am sorry you think of my comments as critical. Just my observations. I usually speak my mind and it often gets me in hot water, but that is just me. Hang in there with this site though. It seems to be a good one and there are a lot of things even for low prices. I really like it. Yes, I am a listia fan. Have a good day.
i am a fan too but look under popular auctions and see what people are getting for that stuff. ive seen things at 70000 credits. one woman i wont say any names but all she does its put up high priced items that i cant even touch. like i said i thought i was doing something nice to help people for christmas. im sorry you dont see it that way
This is my opinion for charmed0520- I have gotten rid of a lot of things too. Check my auctions. I also communicate with those who bid on my idems. I just feel this is a free site not one where things should go high even if the items are high to buy in the store. Yes you do trade things in a round about way. I have shipped items I no longer want or need and gotten a few items I want in the process. Yes, I get what the site is all about. I am not on it for gain, just a fun site and less footprints on the earth. I go to rummage sales too and donate items rather than throw them away. I am a coupon clipper and I wear something someone gives me. But I don't live below the poverty level so I can view things rather objectively I think. Listia is a Free site. That's the key word. FREE
im new and im trying to find what works. plus christmas is coming up and i thought some nice things like new movies or gift cards for just credits would be good gifts , i pay the shipping so the things are free. just trying to help out others. i have seen acutions that are much higher than mine. i have seen one person all of her things are high priced stuff and go for way more than i can afford. so i thought i was helping i guess some dont see it that way.
You're very welcome hun! I'm trying to find Tinkerbell (the first movie) on Blu-Ray. I purchased it before I even got a Blu-Ray player and now that I have one and I have the last two made, and waiting for the fourth one to come out, I want it for my collection because I keep my Blu-Rays separate from my DVDs and it just looks weird having one in one place and two in another..lol! I hope you're having a great day =D =D =D
@sharonh72 - You're most welcome hun! =) And I am waiting to see what the outcomes are going to be for my auctions as well so I'm hoping for the best and I wish you the best as well =) I'll be dropping by every now and then..maybe more often than you think seeing I'm almost always on and bored just browsing and commenting and typing novels up for everybody. LOL! Take care hun and good night =D =D =D
I just bought this movie. I had been waiting FOREVER for it to be re-released in Blu-Ray! Lol. I watched it 3 times the first day I got it..would've been more but my boyfriend had had enough..LOL! Oh well there's always other days. Yaya for Disney! =D =D =D
I got Invictus (just the dvd, not blue ray) for an 800 bid. It was new in the case never opened. This was soon after it came out. An excellent movie and well worth the points, but I thought that was a lot. Maybe I am just poor on points. Hope it goes well for you, but I can't go that high. I only have about 1000 to 1500 so I can not bid but so much. Sort of like too poor to pay attention. I do enjoy bidding when I can afford it though. Good luck!! : )
this is the first one i have put up where it was named mine have been winners choice maybe thats why they go so high because they get to pick what they want.
It seems to me 3000 is a lot to expect people to bid on this, even if it is the whole set. Also to ship just the dvd without a case seems sort of short changing people. A lot of us have never seen 2000 points let alone three.
the last dvd of choice i put up and it was for a dvd only it went for over 2800 credits. i have seen many dvds got more for than that. plus since you cant get it on dvd alone . i thought i would do a nice thing breaking the set up. but like i said before i think it will go for over 3000 for the dvd/ blu ray combo with the rose charm thrown in. So i really dont think its to much to ask. if you look at the auctions for new dvds of your choice you will see they do go very high. plus im not going to send it with out being in a protective case.
