This is a new retractable leash by Animal Planet. It was taken out of the package and disposable bags were stuffed into the appropriate holder area, but it was never used. I purchased it while my dog was ill, thinking he would recover, but he did not.:-(. It has a very effective removeable flashlight (needs 3 AAA batteries, not included). The lead lock is located just below the light. The leash retractor is operated by pulling the loop seen in the first photo, inside the handle. The handle is large, able to comfortably be held by a person with a large hand. The leash part itself has never been unraveled as you can see in the photos. I'm not sure how long the leash part is but I believe it to be about 15 feet (best guess). Original retail price was $24. The item measures 7" long by 6.5" high. It can handle a dog up to 80 lbs. It weighs approximately 1 lb packed for shipment. Being heavy, it will be $9 to ship (usps with insurance) OR FREE SHIP WITH GIN
