It was produced by Boal, Bigelow, and Megan Ellison.

It stars Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jennifer Ehle, Mark Strong, Kyle Chandler, and Édgar Ramírez.[3][4] It was independently financed by Ellison's Annapurna Pictures.
