This phone does work. Touchscreen. Smartphone. It works through the Track phone network. Will need a new Sim card because my son is keeping his to use on his new phone. If you are asking if it is locked, then no. You will just have to get your own Sim card and have the company activate it for you.

No asking if it is a cdma phone or a gsm phone meaning type of phone different types run differently of diff towers for say if its a gsm it won't run off the towers in my area but if it a cdma-v it will a cdma-s will run of of spirits network

Well I do know that it worked in an area that both Sprint and ATT worked. But we have more ATT towers around here than Sprint. I am pretty sure that it was working off of the ATT towers, if I remember right.
