Yes, it's black. I really like the style of this shirt as well, but stores really need a 'uniform' way of sizing. It's more vanity sizing anymore. I am an XS/S in shirts (after a 50# weight loss). But, I also like a more fitted look. This is loose and flowy, which is probably why it is called a tunic. Good luck with your job hunting! Glad you are watching :)
