The listing, Adobe Girl has ended.
Many years ago, I was dining at a Pizza Hut in a small town. After my meal I stood in line to pay. This young girl and her mother were standing in line behind me. I turned for a moment to see who was behind me and smiled at the mother. She then asked me if I was a photographer, noticing my camera hanging off my shoulder. I paused for a moment and thought to myself, "I believe I am". And so, I replied. Yes! but I mostly take pictures as a hobby. She explained to me that her daughter wants to be in the movies, and was currently looking for someone who could take some close-up, black and white pictures of her to use in a portfolio. I told her that I I could use the practice and at the same time, help her out by giving her the pics I took on a CD. We ended up going outside in front of and near the Pizza Hut and we took a few pics. Out of the 5 shots I took, this was the best one that came out. It was kind of overcast that day. I Photoshopped it a bit to emphasize this girls radiant, jet black, "straight as an arrow" hair that went down to her knees. I've never seen hair like that before, was very cool and got some good experience with shooting B&W outside in overcast.
