I'm not sure, I am decidedly not a size 11 (more like size 14). These were given to my mother and she never wore them. They were too big for her. The tag doesn't say "low-rise" or "boot-cut", if there is any other way to tell if they are low-rise, I'm more than happy to verify for you. The only way I know is to have someone try them on. They won't fit me, my daughter is only 6 and I have no friends or relatives that would fit in them living close enough to come over and try them on. Is there a way to measure to find out?
usually measuring the inseam will tell you - if it's 30", then it's most likely low-rise. Or just hold them up at natural waist level; if they're too short, hold them down below the navel. If the length seems normal this way, they're low-rise. I'm a size 11 until I lose the last 20 pounds of baby weight. And I can only wear an 11 if they're low-rise because of the leftover belly!

If they have a very short zipper they are prolly low rise. To measure the rise, you measure from the crotch seam up to the waist. I generally look for a 9 inch rise because I want them under my belly button, but not falling off of me :)

I would like to apologize to everyone that it took me so long to respond. My daughter came home from school on the 17th with a very high fever and the 18th was her birthday. So I'm sure you can understand that with her being ill on her birthday, I had to do anything I could to make sure she enjoyed her birthday as well as she could while being sick.
